Supervised by our experienced instructors,
children develop sportsmanship, confidence,
and the ability to enjoy all sports, including
baseball, football, kickball, creative movement
and more! Our focus on good sportsmanship
and self-confidence makes everyone a winner.
Throughout the summer, our older campers
will try their hand at mining, pontoon boating,
nature activities such as hiking and lots more.

Welcome to Camp Gan Israel's Specialty Days,
where your child gets to take lessons under
the guidance of professional trainers.
Camp Gan Israel’s Specialty Days give our
campers the ability to develop their unique
talents through these fun and creative mediums.
Under the direction of our experienced art director, your child will design,
create, and take home some wonderful Judaic art. Each week is loaded with
opportunities for your child to sing, perform, and dance. Dress up days, costume
boxes, skits, and plays, all contribute to your child's self esteem and blossoming spirit.
Camp Gan Israel's trip days are twice a week; one full-day trip and one
half-day trip. Throughout the summer, campers will visit fun and educational
sites such as Lake Anna, Peak Experiences, Skate Nation and Pocahontas
State Park. Half-day trips include roller-skating, bowling, and batting cages.
Mini Gan Izzy will go on limited local trips including area playgrounds.
Camp Gan Israel is much more than a break from school.
It's a comprehensive summer program, designed to
strengthen the spirit and the soul. It provides your
child with rich and wholesome summer fun along
with friendships and meaningful educational
experiences. Campers are imbued with a deep
sense of pride in their Jewish heritage and a love for
the land of Israel. Weekly Jewish themes are taught
through story, song, games, and contests, all part of
the unique Camp Gan Israel experience.
Our two campsites, located at Chabad of VA and
Temple Beth-El Religious School are uniquely suited for
a great camp experience. The spacious indoor
and outdoor facilities will enable us to provide
campers with summer fun, whatever the weather
outside. Our fabulous pool, complete with slide
and diving board, is enjoyed by all of our campers.
A specially designed pre-school playground, playing
fields, and air-conditioned bunks and common areas
all add to the Camp Gan Israel summer experience.
